Considered one of the world's leading equine appraisers & expert witness, Tracy Dopko is a Senior Equine Appraiser with the American & Canadian Society of Agricultural Appraisers, the American & Canadian Society of Equine Appraisers, Certified Member with the International Society of Appraisers, and has been performing equine appraisals for over 20 years, along with being hired as an equine expert witness and consultant for court cases and is qualified as an equine expert in court proceedings.

Akhal-Teke

American Saddlebred
Tracy has her Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the American Saddlebred, Road Horse, and Saddle Seat divisions, and is also a breed show steward. She has taken USEF Saddle Seat Equitation judges clinics and has also judged this breed throughout the years. Tracy is a member of the American Saddlebred Horse Association and has extensive experience appraising this breed, from the local circuit to some of the top American Saddlebred show horses in North America.
Andalusian
Tracy regularly attends USEF Andalusian judges clinics, has judged this breed throughout the years, and also has extensive experience appraising this breed.
Appaloosa Horse
Tracy has judged this breed regularly throughout the years and is a Color Breed Council Approved Judge. She also has extensive experience training, showing, selling, and appraising this breed.
Arabian
Tracy has extensive experience judging this breed at local, Equestrian Canada, and Arabian Horse Show Association shows. She holds an Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the Arabian division, and is also a show steward for the Arabian Horse Association. She has experience training, selling, and showing Arabians, including winning several circuit and Regional Championships in Arabian Open Hunter and Arabian Hunter Pleasure. Tracy is a member of the Arabian Horse Association and has extensive experience appraising this breed, from the local circuit to some of the top Arabian show horses in North America.
Barrel Racing
Tracy has extensive experience appraising barrel racers and barrel racing breeding stock, from the peewee and youth divisions up to futurity prospects and top-ranked barrel horses in North America.
Breeding
Tracy has been breeding Warmbloods, Welsh Ponies & Cobs, as well as Hunter Ponies for over 20 years. She has hosted mare and stallion inspections at her facility for the ISR/Oldenburg Registry NA, Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International (RPSI), and German Westphalian Verband since 1996. She also runs a successful breeding operation, currently standing several stallions and managing a successful shipped semen operation with a high First Cycle Conception rate each year. She personally freezes semen on all of the resident stallions, as well as performs palpations, ultrasounding, and embryo transfers on her own mares. Tracy has taken extensive courses in equine embryo transfer, equine ultrasound, and equine frozen semen with some of the most respected equine reproduction specialists in North America. She has completed appraisals involving valuing frozen semen as well as Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) frozen semen, frozen embryos, and clones.

Connemara
Tracy is the only Canadian to hold a USEF Registered Connemara judges card and is an Inspector with the Canadian Connemara Pony Society. She has attended Connemara History and Connemara Breed Type & Conformation Clinics with Tomás MacLochlainn of Ireland, a long-time Connemara breeder, inspector, judge, and past president of the Connemara Pony Breeders' Society. Tracy was also nominated to judge the Clifden Connemara Pony Show in Ireland in 2010. She designed & manages the website for the Canadian Connemara Pony Society and competed for Team Connemara in the Spruce Meadows Battle of the Breeds. She recently judged the 2018 ACPS Region I Connemara Breed Show in Vermont. Tracy has extensive experience training, showing, selling, and appraising this breed.
Dressage
Tracy has extensive experience training, showing, selling, and breeding horses & ponies for the dressage circuit in both Canada and the United States and is a member of the United States Dressage Federation and Dressage Canada. She is an FEI L1 Para-Dressage Steward, Dressage & Para-Dressage Steward with Equestrian Canada. Tracy has extensive experience appraising dressage horses & ponies in the United States, Canada, and overseas from Introductory level to Olympic horses.
Eventing
Tracy has extensive experience appraising eventers from pre-entry/beginner novice/BE80 to advanced.
Friesian
Although Tracy recently gave up her USEF Friesian Judge's license, she has been the only Canadian to hold a USEF Friesian judge's card and has judged this breed throughout the years. She regularly attends the USEF Friesian Judges clinics and has attended the Friesch Paarden Stamboek (KFPS) Keuring in Alberta. She has extensive experience training, selling, and appraising this breed.

Hunter/Jumper
Tracy is an FEI L1 jumper steward, USEF Registered hunter, hunter/jumping seat equitation and hunter breeding judge, Equestrian Canada senior hunter, hack & hunt seat equitation judge, recorded jumper judge, hunter/jumper steward, and local course designer. She has attended hunter, jumper, equitation, and hunter breeding clinics in both Canada and the United States, and is a facilitator for Equestrian Canada Hunter, Hack, and Equitation Judges clinics in Western Canada. Tracy has worked as a jumper steward at the prestigious CSIO 5* Spruce Meadows tournaments and also had the opportunity to shadow judge at the CSIO 5* Spruce Meadows Masters. She most recently judged the 2019 $32,500 J.C. Anderson Legacy National Jumper Medal Finals and the 2023 Jump Alberta Young Horse Regional Jumper Finals. Tracy has extensive experience judging, training, showing, selling, and breeding horses & ponies for the hunter/jumper circuit in both Canada and the United States, and also has extensive experience appraising hunter/jumpers in the United States, Canada, and overseas, from short stirrup hunter ponies to Olympic horses.

Norwegian Fjord Horse
Tracy designed & manages the website for the Canadian Fjord Horse Association, as well as managing several Fjord breeder websites. She also manages the breeding of a Fjord stallion for one of her clients. Tracy has experience training, judging, and appraising this breed.

Tracy has her Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the Thoroughbred division. She has extensive experience judging, breeding, training, selling, and showing Thoroughbreds, as well as appraising this breed.
Trakehner
Tracy is an inspector with the Canadian Trakehner Horse Society. She has extensive experience training, showing, selling, and breeding Trakehners and has won numerous American Trakehner Association Horse of the Year and Canadian Trakehner Horse Society Year-End Awards in both hunters and dressage. Tracy also has extensive experience appraising this breed.
Vaulting
Tracy got her start in the equine industry by taking vaulting lessons for several years. She is the only Canadian licensed as a USEF R Vaulting Technical Delegate and is also an FEI L2 Vaulting Steward. She is a member of Equestrian Vaulting USA and is also a VaultCanada steward. She recently officiated at the FEI CVI3* Canada Cup in British Columbia and FEI Vaulting Junior World Championships Selection Trials in California and has experience appraising vaulting horses.
Warmbloods (Dutch Warmbloods, Hanoverians, Oldenburgs, etc.)
Tracy has bred Canadian Sport Horses, Hanoverians, and Oldenburgs for over 25 years, including hosting yearly Warmblood mare and stallion inspections at her farm since 1996 for the ISR/Oldenburg Registry NA, Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International (RPSI), and German Westphalian Verband. She has received two out of three breeder stars with the ISR/Oldenburg Registry NA - one star for producing a minimum of two ISR/Oldenburg Registry NA Premium Mares and one ISR/Oldenburg Registry NA approved stallion and a second star for producing a minimum of three ISR/Oldenburg Registry NA registered offspring with performance success. Tracy is just one foal shy of earning the third star for producing five Premium Foals. Tracy has her Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the Canadian Sport Horse and Canadian Warmblood divisions. She has extensive experience training, showing, and selling warmbloods, as well as appraising some of the top warmblood stallions and mares in the United States, Canada, and Europe, including those at the Olympic level.
Welsh Pony & Cob
Tracy is the only Canadian to hold a USEF Recognized Welsh Pony & Cob judges card, is an Equestrian Canada Senior Welsh Pony & Cob judge, and a Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America Approved Welsh Pony & Cob judge, clinician, and technical delegate. Tracy has judged both the Central National and Eastern National Welsh Shows multiple times, as well as judging Welsh Pony shows in California, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia. Tracy has also served as a judge and Technical Delegate for the American Welsh Nationals on multiple occasions. She is a current member of the USEF Welsh Committee and has been the clinician for multiple Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America judges' clinics. She is a life member with the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America and a yearly member with the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of Canada. Tracy has extensive experience breeding, training, showing, selling, and appraising this breed.
Western
Tracy is one of only a handful of Canadians to hold a USEF Recognized Western judges card, is an Equestrian Canada Senior Western judge, and Senior General Performance judge. She is Chair of the Equestrian Canada General Performance/Western Committee and the facilitator for Equestrian Canada's General Performance/Western Judges clinics in Western Canada. She has experience competing in western pleasure, stock seat, and trail, and has won several National Titles in these disciplines as well. Tracy has extensive experience judging and appraising western pleasure, trail, and reining horses. She also has extensive experience appraising barrel racers, team roping, gymkhana, western dressage horses, rodeo bucking stock, and breeding stock.
